La radio somos UPEL es un proyecto de la Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador (UPEL) y el Instituto de Mejoramiento Profesional del Magisterio (IMPM) de la extensión académica Acarigua con el objetivo de promover y difundir los valores educativos y culturales, de las ciudades de Acarigua, Portuguesa Venezuela y el Mundo. Esta radio es la emisora educativa pionera en este estado con la visión de educar, entretener, informar y culturizar.
