Foi erguida pelos Jesuítas, no antigo Largo de Santana, atual Praça da Catedral, antes mesmo da criação da diocese, e desde então passou por várias reformas. OFF 2: De estilo barroco, possui elementos como arcos, colunas e altares ricamente decorados. O altar de Sant'Ana, padroeira do município de Caetité e da diocese de 41 paróquias, é uma preciosidade do templo.
