En el 2001 se inaugura en la Urbanización “La Carucieña” el Centro de Participación Ciudadana (CPC) actualmente Centro de Poder Comunal, espacio que tiene por fin impulsar el encuentro del movimiento popular de la Parroquia, el CPC incluye una Emisora Comunitaria. Una Tv Comunitaria, La Escuela de arte Popular Don Pio Alvarado, Sede de la Comuna Ataroa y Un sin Fin de organizaciones que hacen vida dentro de este espacio, Expresión de la organización Comunal. Esta emisora fue inaugurada por Chávez en el año 2.001, en su Aló Presidente número 74, transmitidos desde las instalaciones de la misma. Esta radio para aquel entonces contaba con 500 Vatios y era administrada por militares y luego por el Fondo Único social, con lo menos que tenía que ver la radio era con la comunidad y la participa

An important first note that the imbedded audio streamer no longer works with Radio DJ. Altcast which was originally compatible with Radio DJ no longer works on the latest model so we have a new way of doing it. If you want to use altcast you will have to install an older version of Radio DJ. If you would like to see a video about using Altcast as a streamer let me know in the comments.
