I wanted to create something where artists who already feel comfortable in the world of sound or first-timers who are just starting out can feature their work somewhere encouraging. My own experience getting into sound art has mostly been through my education at university and my own research, most of which has been daunting and not easy, and I would imagine that learning outside of education would be much more difficult. Due to this, I wanted to make a space where artists could learn somewhere encouraging and welcoming. I also wanted to allow for connections between artists, ones that encourage learning and creating.
