Malaika Community Radio is a community-centered audio-visual FM and digital radio station designed to empower, inform, educate, and connect people across Siaya County—particularly Ugenya/Ugunja, Gem, Alego/Usonga, Rarieda/, and neighboring regions. The station is dedicated to strengthening grassroots development, promoting culture, enhancing youth and women empowerment, and providing a reliable platform for community expression.The project is a partnership between Malaika Foundation (lead registering and sponsoring body) and Babz Media (the strategic initiator, planner, and operational brain behind the radio concept). Together, they are establishing a sustainable, inclusive, and development-focused radio station for the community.
