VDB Media Platform is een initiatief voor en door mensen met een beperking. Wij vinden het heel belangrijk dat iedereen mee kan doen, ook in de media! Daarom maken wij radio en in de toekomst willen we gaan onderzoeken of tv maken ook mogelijk is. Bij ons kunnen mensen met een beperking zelf radio maken. Ze draaien muziek, maken leuke programma’s en helpen anderen om hun eigen programma’s te maken. We hebben een studio waar iedereen gratis mag komen werken. Maar we doen nog meer! We organiseren ook disco-avonden, evenementen en feestjes speciaal voor mensen met een beperking. Alles wat we doen, is bedacht en gemaakt door onze eigen groep, en iedereen moet mee kunnen doen, welke beperking ze ook hebben.
