Once upon a time, in a moonlit forest where fireflies blinked like tiny LEDs, there lived a badger named Benny Bassdrop. By day, Benny dug neat tunnels and napped in cozy burrows. But by night—when the owls tuned in and the crickets kept time—Benny became **DJ Badger**. He set up his turntables on a flat mushroom cap near the old oak. His headphones were made from two smooth stones and a loop of vine, and his mixer was a clever box of acorns and buttons he’d scavenged from the human trail. When DJ Badger dropped a beat, the roots seemed to thrum and the leaves shimmered. One evening, the forest felt tense. The river had rushed too loud, the wind kept interrupting, and the animals were grumpy. DJ Badger tapped his paw, listened, and smiled. “Time for a remix,” he said.

DWJX, broadcasting as 89.5 OKFM, is a radio station owned and operated by PBN Broadcasting Network. Its studios and transmitter are located at the 4th Floor, ABA Bldg., Brgy. Talisay, Sorsogon City. PBN Broadcasting Network, Inc., or simply PBN, started its operations as a cable-type station fondly called "Radyo Balagon" under the banner of Bicol Wire Broadcasting System (BWBS in Legazpi City in year 1958. It was established by Mr. Jorge D. Bayona when Legazpi City and the whole province of Albay had never heard about radio.

WTAF hit the airwaves back in 2001 as an experiment in radio programming known by call-sign WRZJ. What would happen if there were no focus groups, no limit to the number of songs we played on air, and (of course) no commercials? And people listened.  So we kept it going.
