KKBQHD2 is a commercial radio station serving the northern section of Greater Houston. The station airs the programming of country legends 97.1 which broadcasts a classics country radio format, and is owned by the Cox Media Group is a Houston-based radio station operated by Urban One, specializing in classic country hits from the 1940s to the 1990s. Formerly known as "Country Legends," it rebranded in August 2025 to honor Houston's rodeo history, featuring artists like George Strait, Willie Nelson, and Dolly Parton.

This radio station is a mix of animé, video game and j-pop/rock music, mostly from the 2000s as that's the decade I'm most familiar with, however there are songs from as far back as 1984 right up to the present day. I will add more songs as I discover/rediscover them.
