La idea de Rumbo FM surgió como un sueño silencioso que poco a poco se convirtió en una pasión imparable. Desde mis primeras experiencias, comprendí que la radio es mucho más que música: es compañía, es conversación, es un puente entre historias y emociones. Cada amanecer escuchando canciones y voces que llenaban los hogares me inspiraba a querer crear un espacio propio, donde las personas pudieran sentirse escuchadas, acompañadas y motivadas. Al principio, todo era sencillo: un micrófono prestado, una computadora antigua y un entusiasmo que no cabía en mi pecho. No importaban los recursos; lo que verdaderamente contaba era la intención de conectar con cada oyente, de transmitir alegría, esperanza y cercanía. Cada programa fue un aprendizaje.

I wanted to create something where artists who already feel comfortable in the world of sound or first-timers who are just starting out can feature their work somewhere encouraging. My own experience getting into sound art has mostly been through my education at university and my own research, most of which has been daunting and not easy, and I would imagine that learning outside of education would be much more difficult. Due to this, I wanted to make a space where artists could learn somewhere encouraging and welcoming. I also wanted to allow for connections between artists, ones that encourage learning and creating.
