I wanted to create something where artists who already feel comfortable in the world of sound or first-timers who are just starting out can feature their work somewhere encouraging. My own experience getting into sound art has mostly been through my education at university and my own research, most of which has been daunting and not easy, and I would imagine that learning outside of education would be much more difficult. Due to this, I wanted to make a space where artists could learn somewhere encouraging and welcoming. I also wanted to allow for connections between artists, ones that encourage learning and creating.

إذاعة جامعة الخرطوم _ صوت العلم والمعرفة انطلقت اذاعة جامعة الجامعة في يونيو ٢٠١٤ كخدمة اذاعية خاصة تعنى بإنتاج ونشر المعرفة وذلك على الموجة(٩٣.٣ اف ام) تبث داخل ولاية الخرطوم على مدى يبلغ (٥٠كلم). تضم إذاعة الجامعة عدد (3) استديوهات، استديو للبث المباشر، استديو للتسجيل واستديو للتدريب بالإضافة إلى مكتبة. وقد تم تجهيز الاستديوهات بأحدث الأجهزة والمعدات الاحترافية. تبث اذاعة الجامعة برامج التعليم عن بعد وبرامج الفئات «المرأة، الطفل، الشباب، الطلاب» كما تهدف الاذاعة الى نشر البحوث العلمية للجامعة في قوالب إذاعة متخصصة، كما تهدف اذاعة جامعة الخرطوم الى الارتقاء بصورة الجامعة وعكس دورها في خدمة المجتمع والتعبير عن فعالياتها وانشطتها وتقديم خدمات تعليمية وثقافية لقطاعات المجتمع المختلفة، من طلاب المدراس والجامعات والاسر وربط الجامعة بالمجتمع. كما تقوم الاذاعة بتأهيل وتدريب طلاب تخصص الاعلام
