Yasa dışı bir örgüt olarak kurulan Kürdistan Sosyalist Partisi (PSK) faaliyetlerini 42 yıl boyunca illegal olarak yürüttü.[3] 2016'da Türkiye Cumhuriyeti İçişleri Bakanlığına başvuran PSK yönetimi, yasal bir parti olarak çalışmalarına devam etti. Bu sırada Yargıtay Cumhuriyet Başsavcılığı, parti isminden Kürdistan kelimesinin çıkarılması hususunda parti yönetimini uyardı ancak başka bir işlem yapılmadı. Şubat 2019'da Yargıtay Cumhuriyet Başsavcılığı ismindeki "Kürdistan" kelimesini gerekçe göstererek Anayasa Mahkemesine PSK hakkında kapatma davası açtı.[3]

Günümüzde yapılan farklı araştırmalarda da müziğin ruhsal hastalıkların oluşumunda etkisi olan ve insanın duygusal durumunu düzenleyen serotonin, dopamin, adrenalin, testosteron gibi hormonları olumlu etkilediği; kan basıncı, solunum ritmi gibi fizyolojik işlevleri düzenlediği ve beyindeki oksijen ve kanlanmanın dengesini sağladığı gözlenmiştir (Brotons ve Koger 2000). Bu durumda müzik, zihin ve beden, duygular ve ruh arasındaki dengeyi sağlayan bir köprü olarak görülebilmektedir.
