Apocalipsis 13 presenta a los poderes que aparecen en el tiempo del fin: una bestia que sale de la tierra y otra segunda bestia que sale del mar. Ambos persiguen y luchan contra el pueblo de Dios. En Apocalipsis 14 aparece la descripción del pueblo de Dios
