I am a Thessaloniki-born songwriter with Eastern roots; my great-grandparents—bearing the surname Magkas—lived in the historic Greek city of Bursa. Since childhood, I have loved writing lyrics and composing music, recording my vocals on a cassette player. My first album was the rock collection *Dakry pou emeine stegno* (A Tear That Remained Dry, 2014)—featuring my own lyrics, music, and vocals—which was compiled in February 2013, with videos subsequently posted on Facebook. I began creating *laiko* (Greek popular) music in January 2015 with the recording of the song "To myalo mou" (My Mind), which also served as the title track for that playlist.
