Radio Maria (RM) est née en Italie. Au départ une radio paroissiale apparue en 1983 à Arcellasco d’Erba, dans la province de Côme, dans le Diocèse de Milan. En janvier 1987, RM est devenue indépendante de la paroisse et l’Association Radio Maria a été formée, composée de laïcs et de prêtres, afin de développer une œuvre d’évangélisation à plus grande échelle. RM n’est en effet pas le patrimoine d’une congrégation ou d’un mouvement en particulier, mais une initiative de catholiques ouverts à toute réalité ecclésiale en communion avec sa Hiérarchie. Les premières traces du projet d’extension de Radio Maria sur le territoire togolais se trouvent exprimées dans l’accord signé entre le Diocèse de Lomé Représenté par son Pasteur, Monseigneur l’Archevêque, Philippe Fanoko Kpodzro et Radio Maria.

Radio Quinteroweb, Los orígenes de Quintero se remontan a 1536, cuando llega el español don Alonso de Quintero en la nave Santiaguillo. En esa época los marinos españoles confeccionaban carta de navegación en su reconocimiento, siendo ésta llamada "Bahía de Quintero", quedando consignada así para la Armada española. Piratas y Corsarios existen en la historia y leyenda de Quintero, se consigna que el 9 de Abril de 1587 llega el corsario inglés Thomas Cavendish, así también llegan los piratas Drake en el siglo XVI y Spilpergen en el siglo XVII, encontrando un punto de descanso y abastecimiento de agua y leña. Como recuerdo de ello, quedó La Cueva del Pirata, ubicada en el acantilado Punta Liles.
