Etrafı kayın, sarıçam, sedir, kestane ağaçları ile çevreli gölün rengi zümrüt yeşilidir. Güney kıyısı sarp ve diktir. Tabandan su kaynaması olan göl, ayrıca dereden gelen sularla da beslenmektedir. Uzunluğu 900 metre olan göl, 300 metre genişlik ve 25 metre derinliğe sahiptir. Doğu-batı yönünde uzanan bir vadide yer alır. Ormanlık alan içerisinde konaklamalar için bungalov tipi evler, kafeterya, kamp ve piknik alanları, doğa yürüyüş yolları bulunmaktadır.
