Malaika Community Radio is a community-centered audio-visual FM and digital radio station designed to empower, inform, educate, and connect people across Siaya County—particularly Ugenya/Ugunja, Gem, Alego/Usonga, Rarieda/, and neighboring regions. The station is dedicated to strengthening grassroots development, promoting culture, enhancing youth and women empowerment, and providing a reliable platform for community expression.The project is a partnership between Malaika Foundation (lead registering and sponsoring body) and Babz Media (the strategic initiator, planner, and operational brain behind the radio concept). Altcast which was originally compatible with Radio DJ no longer works on the latest model so we have a new way of doing it.
